Tangan-tangan Yang Tinggal by Siti Jasmina Ibrahim won the Malaysian Premier Literary Prize Award 2015 for the drama category. This play carries an Islamic theme and its main argument revolves around the successor of an Islamic school after the passing of the Tok Guru Ustaz Haji Al-Rashid. The turmoil in the community is to choose their new leader of Wakaf Pemuda, which is between the late Tok Gurus’ son (Sali) or his student (Waris). Various matters related to the faith of a Muslim is portrayed in this play. Therefore, the objective of this article is to examine and explain aspects of faith that is presented in this play by applying the Dakwah Approach in the Malay Methodology theory, pioneered by Hashim Awang. To attain the research objective, a fundamental research was designed, with qualitative research as the method, with library research as the main research instrument for examining past books, journal articles, and theses in finding answers to the objectives of this article. The findings of the study recorded in this article are that, the author highlights the message of da'wah regarding aspects of faith through this script based on the teachings in the Al-Quran. The aspects of da'wah portrayed in this script are a firm belief in the existence, oneness and power of Allah; the great sin of syirik; as well as Muslims’ credence on the Al-Qur'an and As-Sunnah.
