Malay Language teachers are currently facing a very challenging situation in their efforts to dignify Bahasa Malay, especially as the official language and the medium of instruction in the national education system. The Malay language teachers are fighting to defend the fate of the Malay language which is beginning to be cynical with the challenge of the language of knowledge in the international education scene. This writing will show how the Model Rasa Insaniah (MRI) can catalyst for the resilience of Malay teachers when faced with pressing challenges. This study uses the literature review method, which is to show the presence of the Model Rasa Insaniah (MRI) in the personality (characteristics) of Malay teachers, especially regarding their responsibilities as language educators and human models. This conceptual application writing will explain the extent to which MRI consists of three main principles, namely (1) The Principle of Devotion to Allah SWT, (2) The Principle of Civilized Pronunciation, and (3) The Principle of Subtlety of Meaning so that it can be used as a basis for examining values and personalities teaching career of Malay teachers. In line with that, this writing will show the need for the human nature of a Malay language teacher towards his Creator as stated in the first principle of MRI, which is that teachers are creatures subject to the principle of Devotion to Allah SWT. This is in line with the KPM's demands and requirements to see the character of Malay teachers as not only mastering Malay pedagogy but also practicing the concept of language, which refers to the instilling of civilized, noble character or 'linguistic skills' and has the characteristics of apostolic nature as a communicator of knowledge as well as an implementer of national education goals.
