Zakat's Significance and Implementation for Children

While children are not directly responsible for paying zakat, their guardians or parents must perform zakat requirements with any money the children may have. Teaching youngsters about zakat and enrolling them in charitable activities can help them develop a strong knowledge of Islamic values and a lifelong commitment to giving.
