Mobile banking refers to use of mobile devices such as a smartphone or tablet to conduct financial transactions and services remotely. However, mobile banking adoption rate in Malaysia are relatively low. The purpose of this study is to investigate the factors influence mobile banking adoption in Malaysia context using UTAUT theory with an extension of “trust” variable. The data of this study was collected from primary sources through online questionnaire. Findings denoted that performance expectancy (PE), effort expectancy (EE), social influence (SI) and trust (T) have significant influences towards behavioural intention (BI) of mobile banking adoption (MBA). Thus, banks are recommended to look into these factors in encouraging mobile banking adoption in Malaysia.
