The aim of the present paper is to provide insights in the challenges emerging from the so-called multicultural society, as well as in comprehending the theoretical pedagogical framework referred to as “intercultural education”. Hence, it is of primary importance to understand that the pedagogical tactics of a teacher reflect the quality of his/her relationship with his/her students. In this respect, the proper and prompt design of educational programmes is deemed significant, so that the actions proposed by the Ministry of Education can be put into effect through school networks. To this end, a practical guide for the design and implementation of relevant programmes is provided in the second part of the study.
