Textbooks play an essential role in instilling noble values in students, especially at the school level. As the primary reference material in the teaching and learning process, textbooks are carefully designed to integrate moral values into each subject. Values such as respect, honesty, responsibility, and cooperation are embedded through textual content, illustrations, as well as activities and exercises provided to students. Textbooks also assist teachers in planning lessons that relate to students' daily lives, allowing moral values to be applied contextually and practiced in real-life situations. This concept paper also explores literature on the extent to which the use of the Form Four Moral Education textbook in the teaching and learning process (PdPc) can build exemplary student character, aligning with the Moral Education curriculum's goal of nurturing morally upright individuals. Furthermore, textbooks also serve as a primary resource in Moral Education PdPc, functioning as a medium to encourage students to engage in moral reasoning, emotions, and actions consistent with rules and laws. Through systematically arranged content, textbooks introduce students to moral concepts such as justice, honesty, responsibility, and empathy. In addition, textbooks address the emotional aspect by helping students understand others' feelings in specific situations, encouraging them to act rationally. Awareness of laws and regulations is also explained to instill adherence to societal norms and national rules, thereby fostering students not only to understand moral principles but also to practice them in their daily lives. Thus, the Form Four Moral Education textbook serves not only as a source of knowledge but also as a practical guide to shaping exemplary and morally sound student character.
