This research aims to prove that the authentic qira’at (qira’at mutawatirah) are revealed from Allah Almighty and to refute the criticisms and objections made regarding the qira’ah (recitations) of Hamzah, Ibn Amir, and Al-Kisai. It also seeks to clarify these criticisms in order to prevent their use as a tool to attack the upright religion and its clear revelation. The significance of this study lies in raising awareness about the prohibition of preferring one authentic qira’ah over another, once they have been transmitted by the imams chosen by the Muslim community. The ten recognized imams were selected not only for their mastery of recitation but also for their expertise in interpreting, explaining, and justifying the qira’at. There is no room to compare the authentic qira’at with anything external, even if they differ in some measures or rules. Once a qira’ah is authenticated and transmitted through tawatur, it cannot be rejected or weakened, and must be accepted as part of the Qur’an. This research adopts the inductive method to gather relevant elements by referencing the most renowned works of scholars who specialized in the field of authentic qira’at. It also utilizes the descriptive-analytical method to examine the texts and clarify the rules and principles established by the imams of qira’at. The study concludes with several key findings, the foremost of which is that the authentic qira’at are divinely revealed and safeguarded from distortion, as Allah has taken it upon Himself to preserve His noble Book, as stated in the verse: “Indeed, it is We who have sent down the Qur’an, and indeed, We will be its guardian.” The researcher recommends further studies to address and respond to those who cast doubts upon the Qur’an.
