This study aims to clarify the role of digital education in fostering Islamic values among adolescents in the era of digital transformation, given the pervasive spread of modern technologies, smartphones, and social media platforms. These technological shifts have profoundly transformed learning styles, communication patterns, and the formation of adolescents' beliefs and attitudes. This research examines digital education as an educational process that extends beyond mere technical skill acquisition to encompass the development of awareness, responsibility, and the capacity for safe, critical, and ethical technology use. It addresses the psychological and social characteristics of adolescence within the contemporary digital environment marked by a drive toward autonomy, identity formation, and susceptibility to peer and digital content influences. Furthermore, the study analyzes the primary digital challenges impacting adolescents' Islamic values, including excessive social media consumption, exposure to inappropriate content, cyberbullying, disinformation, and privacy vulnerabilities. It details the contribution of digital education to instilling core Islamic values—most notably honesty, integrity, modesty (Haya'), respect for others, verification of information, moderation, self-regulation, and personal accountability. Finally, the paper outlines strategic interventions to reinforce these values, including fostering self-governance, cultivating critical thinking, integrating family and school roles, and leveraging engaging digital content. The study concludes that navigating the challenges of digital transformation requires building digital and moral literacy that enables adolescents to responsibly leverage opportunities and mitigate risks while preserving their Islamic identity and ethical compass, rather than isolating them from technology.
