Artificial intelligence is becoming exponentially crucial in the strategy and execution of modern-day military operations. Its function encompasses intelligence analysis, cyber operations, electronic warfare, surveillance, and decision support in addition to autonomous systems. In hybrid warfare, whilst military and non-military actions are frequently integrated, these applications become particularly relevant. The study explores the impact of artificial intelligence on operational and strategic decision-making in modern hybrid warfare. The study employs an exploratory methodology that is based on a specialty literature review and specific instances from current conflicts. Drones, cyber and electronic warfare, GEOINT and IMINT, misinformation and AI-supported decision systems receive special emphasis. The analysis also considers the manner in which artificial intelligence is able to process massive amounts of data and speed up the OODA cycle. The results imply that AI can facilitate the coordination of intricate activities, enhance situational awareness, and reduce decision-making time. Concerns regarding human oversight, accountability, data reliability, and the dangers of automated decision-making are also raised by its increasing use. The study emphasizes how, in hybrid warfare, the link between human judgment and technical capabilities is evolving.
